We all know people who buy RV's then never seem to drive them so they sit unused which only creates a maintenance nightmare for the owners. Remove the stress and rent instead.
The specific rental rates can vary by RV so please take the time to review the individual listings for up-to-date rental rates. We actively support the RV community and appreciate the growing community of owners who rent so encourage you to compare prices with others; in doing so you will find that JMB Outdoors has more transparent pricing and lower fees across the board.
Below is an overview of the payment schedule, cancellation policy, additional mandatory costs, and a detailed explanation optional add-ons and why they are separately priced. The costs can vary slightly between vehicles but the explanations and rational do not.
There is a 25% reservation fee that will be collected at the time of the booking. If a booking is less than 14 days away, the reservation is charged in full. If a booking is more than 14 days away, renters have the option to pay the reservation deposit in two installments—the first being a partial reservation deposit, the second a reservation remainder to be paid 14 days before the booking start date.
You will be charged a $500-$750 security deposit two days before your rental begins. This deposit will be released, less any damages or additional fees (fuel, mileage as noted below) within a week of returning the RV.
We honor our troops so U.S. military service members are eligible for a full refund if their cancellation is due to them, or a family member, entering active military duty.
For Everyone else there is a 48-hour grace period after booking for you to cancel a reservation made more than 14 days in advance. If canceled during this grace period, a full refund—including all fees—will be issued to the renter and the owner won’t receive payment.
If you are out of grace period or you booked a reservation less than 14 days in advance than the following applies:
During the reservation process you will be prompted to choose between different levels of insurance coverage. This will be for the insurance that covers comprehensive and collision much like your personal vehicle policies do. Please remember that you are responsible for any and all damage and liabilities during the rental period. RV's are large and have the potential to a lot of damage, so please protect yourself and your family.
Going on a short weekend trip of 3-days or less? We have a single spot available for parking so you have the convenience of driving in parking and taking off. Remove the hassle of what to do with your car so you can enjoy the weekend. When you are done you just come back drop off the RV, do a quick walk-through, and off you go home. If you are going on a longer trip please call to discuss options and availability.
You decided to rent an RV so you could feel free during your vacation— don’t let the fear of unintentional interior damage keep you from enjoying your time. RV Rental Damage Coverage provides coverage for accidental damages that you or anyone in your travel party causes to the RV interior while it’s parked during your trip. For longer trips, pets and children we highly recommend it.
A $50 fee will be imposed if you return the RV after 3PM on the day of return. The return process requires adequate light to ensure an easier inspection. Please stay in contact if you find that you are going to be late, Also please remember that our units are usually booked by other families picking up as quickly as the next day.
A $50 fee will be imposed if you wish to pick up the RV before Noon. A lot of our RVs are rented to other families and often times are returned the afternoon before. It takes a lot to ensure they are cleaned, restocked and ready for the road. Making sure your vacation is ready-now when you show up is a top priority.
Vacations are for relaxing, leave the hassle for when you get home, let us clean for you. So just like it sounds, for a single fee we do the work so you don’t have to. If the vehicle is not returned at the same level of cleanliness it was rented this fee will be applied to your security deposit.
Please let us know in advance if you plan to tow anything behind or use the garage in the toy haulers. We charge a flat fee please see the information for a specific RV for prices. For towing you must bring your own flat-towing equipment and tow weight must not exceed the towing capacity for your rental Renter must bring all other compatible equipment to tow their personal items. We keep the hitches locked at all times to prevent misuse.
All of our RVs have 200 miles per rental day. Additional miles are $0.35 each. The limits are based upon paid days over the entire rental so a 3-day trip has a 600-Mile Limit.
All of our RVs have 4 hours of generator usage per rental day. Additional generator hours are $3 each. The limits are based upon paid days over the entire rental so a 3-day trip has 9-hour limit.
We love our animals however, we have many customers and some are allergic to them so we take an extra step to clean the cabin afterwards. Please note that this fee DOES NOT cover pet damage.
This usually should not be a problem as there is a gas station around the corner from us! However, if we are required to take the motorhome and refuel it there will be a flat charge to refuel the RVs which varies depending on the specific model and fuel type.
We will give you a list of locations that fill propane around us, however sometimes the RVs are returned without the propane being filled back up. We charge $50 flat fee per tank.
We realize that this can be a bit of a pain, however we provide a list of the nearest dump locations. Please dump before you leave your campsite or at one of the locations we show you.
